On April 13, 45 new cases of the new coronavirus were confirmed in Japan, bringing the total number of people infected, including those on board cruise ships, to 18,174.
The total number of infected people in Tokyo is now 5497. It was the third consecutive day that the number of infected people exceeded 20.
One death each in Tokyo and Osaka Prefecture was confirmed, bringing the total number of deaths in Japan to 944.
Japan has by far the lowest number of cases and deaths in the world.
There has been no lockdown.
And yet, it is unusually fearful.
They criticize people who don’t wear masks with impunity.
If they move to another district, they treat them like criminals.
Even though no one is breaking the law.
